John Riegger joins Team QED Style
We are proud to announce the addition of Champions Tour winner, John Riegger, to Team QED Style. Winner of the 2013 Boeing Classic, John has 30 years of professional golf experience and will not only be a great brand ambassador but also a valuable resource.
As an avid bow hunter and outdoorsman, John carries a level of swagger that well represents our brand. Interestingly, it was Riegger's bow hunting experience that ended up providing guidance for the AimPoint putting strategy. As John explained, early on with AimPoint there was not a good way to measure how far outside the hole the target should be. Since using the AimPoint book was against USGA rules, Riegger drew upon his bow hunting experience and suggested using your knuckles for measurement. From there, the now common practice of using your fingers to measure was conceived
As you can imagine, John is well known in the golf industry and he was on site at the 2016 PGA Show. During that time, we had the opportunity to get some early feedback from him. "The best pants I have ever worn" were John's words. Specifically, he was referencing the Payson Pants which have been a huge hit with our Tour players.
From QED Style's standpoint, well, "we are thrilled to add someone with John's experience to our team" remarked QED Style Founder Mike McRae. "John knows a ton of people and is very well-liked on tour. We think he will be a fantastic ambassador for us."
Unlike most of the young PGA Players, John is old school. With that said, Riegger is not afraid to have some fun. Case in point, we took John outside the Convention Center at the PGA Show to get a few pictures. Little did he know we would send him out in the middle of Orlando traffic.
Please help us welcome John to the team and don't forget to check out his profile page. You can also follow him on Twitter.
